Cobalt Threaded Shank Drill Bits NAS 965.
A common premium aircraft drill bit. 135° degree split point imperial threaded shank drills are used in confined spaces where standard chuck drills can’t operate. Manufactured from Cobalt steel, they are often used in offset or angled drilling applications. The threaded element of the drill is countered by the direction of the drill to ensure the drill bit doesn’t fall out in manufacturing and MRO environments.Threaded shank drills are manufactured to NAS 965 and are available in different length sizes per diameter to cover most hard to access drilling applications in the aerospace industry. Made from industrial grade NAS Cobalt Steel and have been toughened with superior red hardness for high temperature applications and run-off characteristics.
