Imperial Industrial-Grade NAS (National Aerospace Standard) Black Oxide Extended 12” overall length Drill Bits. 12” Extended drill bits feature the same flute length as standard jobber drill bits, but for an extended shank making all diameters 12” overall length. Precision ground flutes for superior strength and run-out characteristics from a one-piece drill. 12H501 blackened drills offer a mid-length extension solution for deep holes in hard-to-reach applications. Compliant to NAS 907 and feature a split point.Blacked drill surfaces are treated with enhanced corrosion resistance and increased lubricity. Drill flutes on all RMT drill bits are precision ground using the latest CNC technology for faster and more efficient swarf and chip removal. Ground precisely to tight quality standards, the flutes deliver superior cutting performance and accuracy. Like all RMT drill bits, these black oxide jobber drill bits are manufactured from industrial grade NAS (National Aerospace Standard) High Speed Steel.
