RMT NAS Grade HSS Black Oxide Jobber Drill Bit 135°.

Manufactured by Rocky Mountain Twist Drill at the foot of the Rocky’s in Montana USA, heavy duty JH501 Black Oxide Finish HSS Jobber drill bits feature a 135° split point which infiltrates the material surface on contact. The split point also acts to self-center, with both properties helping stop the drill from walking and minimising the need for an initial spotting operation. Blacked drill surfaces are treated with enhanced corrosion resistance and increased lubricity. Drill flutes on RMT drill bits are precision ground using the latest CNC technology for faster and more efficient swarf and chip removal. Ground precisely to tight quality standards, the flutes deliver superior cutting performance and accuracy. Like all RMT drill bits, these black oxide jobber drill bits are manufactured from industrial grade NAS (National Aerospace Standard) High Speed Steel.
