Phantom HSS Parabolic Extra Long HSS Drill Bit 130°

Phantom HSS Extra Long Series Parabolic Drill. Made to DIN 1869 with a ground Parabolic flute form for deep hole drilling. A ground split point helps to center this extra long series drill, and a point angle of 130° is the optimum point geometry for deep hole drilling. Parabolic flutes have a flatter form to help keep the drill away from the swarf as it excavates quickly along the fast helix. These properties can mean higher speed and feed rates, as well as a better finish in the hole. Extra long series drills can go up to 600mm overall drill length.

Metric diameters; from 2mm to 14mm in 0.5mm increments. Overall lengths from 125mm for 2mm and 600mm for 12mm diameters.
