Phantom HSS-E Co. Cobalt Stub Drill Bits
Phantom HSSE-Co (Cobalt) drill Bits have a point angle of 135° with a split point from 3.1mm diameter. The split point prevents drill wondering. The addition of 5% Co to HSS facilitates higher cutting speeds and feeds than standard HSS. Cobalt also extends tool life as well. These drills are ideal for drilling soft to medium stainless steels and alloys.Manufactured to DIN 1897 and diameters from 1mm to 13mm with parallel shanks. Ground split points from 3.1mm with a standard S point below and including 3mm.
Phantom 11160 HSSE are industrial grade ground flute stub drill bits. They are the entry level cobalt drill in the phantom range without coating.
