RMT NAS Grade Cobalt HSSCo Aircraft Extension Drill Bits 135°. Industrial-Grade NAS (National Aerospace Standard) Cobalt Steel Extended Length Drill Bits. Aircraft Extension drill bits feature the same flute length as standard jobber drill bits, but for an extended shank making all diameters 6” overall length. Precision flute ground for superior strength and run-out characteristics, 6C514 Extended Cobalt drill bits are a mid-length extension solution for deep holes in confined applications, where a longer reach is required.
