Phantom HSS-E Co TiAlN Coated Stub Drills for Stainless 130°.
Phantom DIN PXD 1897-N is a quick helix TiAlN Coated stub drill bit. The addition of Cobalt and the TiAlN (Titanium Aluminium Nitrate) coating, alongside the quick helix for fast chip removal, make this cobalt stub drill ideal for all alloy steels and stainless steels (INOX). PXD drills have an ultra-strong core, coupled with the short flute, make this a robust drill bit. Ideal for sliding head lathes and thinner gauge material.Manufactured to DIN 1897 in diameters from 1mm - 13mm with parallel shanks. Featuring a split point which is two extra edges ground onto the chisel edge making the entire tip a cutting surface.
