RMT Imperial Titanium Coated TiN HSS Jobber Drill 135°.

Imperial Titanium coated TiN HSS Jobber Drill Bit manufactured by Rocky Mountain Twist Drill at the foot of the Rocky’s in Montana USA. Heavy duty drill bits with superior performance in high speed machining applications. The TiN Titanium Nitrate coating prevents tool wear at increased temperatures produced by high speed machining. TiN HSS Jobber drill bits feature a 135° split point which self-centers and penetrates the material surface on contact preventing drill wondering. As well as the increased hardness properties of the TiN coating, the surface is treated with increased lubricity. Drill flutes on RMT drill bits are precision ground using the latest CNC technology for faster and more efficient swarf and chip removal. Ground precisely to tight quality standards, the flutes deliver superior cutting performance and accuracy. Like all RMT drill bits, TiN coated jobber drill bits are manufactured from industrial grade NAS (National Aerospace Standard) High Speed Steel.
