Description
Phantom PHD TiAlN coated HSSE-Co Jobber Drill Bits 130°
Phantom PHD TiAIN coated HSSE-Co jobber drill bits have a 130°-point angle and a split point for self-centring. Due to their TiAIN coating, which reduces friction and has a greater resistance to heat and oxidation, they can handle greater cutting speeds and higher feed rates. The existence of Co and the thin film of Titanium Aluminium Nitride, drastically shortens drilling times and increases tool life by 4 or 5 times depending on the application. Manufactured in accordance with DIN 338, featuring a parallel drill shank and fast helix.
Ground split points from 3.1mm with a standard S point below and including 3mm. Diameters range from 2mm to 14mm in predominately 0.1mm Increments.
Phantom 11774 series are designed to stand up to modern manufacturing speeds, feeds and machine tools. The TiAlN coating, fast helix and existence of cobalt with HSS tool steel make this drill ideal for hard alloy steels.
